Angry Ranger Brake Problems...Need Help Bad!!

Hey guys, I am having some serious brake issues. During normal braking, my rear wheels just lock up. I have replaced the brake proportiong valve (due to codes thrown by the ABS system-codes have gone), the master cylinder, both wheel cylinders, shoes, and all brake hardware. It has gotten better, but not fixed. Now the ABS system is saying that there is a com failure to the system.

Has anyone else had this problem? If so, I am in need of help bad.

By the way, I haven't done this work myself. I had all of the work done by my friend and his dad who own a speed shop in Tampa. I also have had some help from some guys from Ramsey's Performance. For all of those who don't know Ramsey's, they are specialists in Mustang performance. They have even been recognized by Ford Racing and have built multiple turbo rangers, explorers, and mustangs.

I'm on my 4th Ranger (99, 01, 04, 04) and the brakes on every one of them grabbed when they were the slightest bit damp. The Edge I have right now grabs like a bit&$ when wet and the last state inspection had the comment "excellent brakes" on it. Go figure....
I'm not saying that's ur issue, just a comment is all.

Mb128- it doesn't act like it doesn't want to stop, it tries to stop the moment you touch the brake pedal. There is no safe, slowdown and stop. It goes from runnin to locked.

RedRumEdge-Well, it doesn't happen only when it is wet. It actually happens all of the time. It hasn't rained in a little bit and it still does it everytime we test drive it.

Are all you guys running Ford OEM brakes? My mechanic told me it is Ford's brake pads that cause the lock-up isssues. I just put NAPA's top-of-line rotors on the front of my Xterra and I will be putting them on the Ranger too when the time comes - Amazing brakes! Just Rotors and pads with factory calipers. Feels like you could stand it on it's nose now!

When you do not have your foot on the brake, does it feel/sound like the shoes are dragging?
