Yes you are right, I had a pro mechanic of 3.5 years look at it that didn't know his ass from a hole in the ground. You are not the only mechanic in the world.

May I ask what the hell a pro mechanic is? I'm a diesel mechanic and it is my profession.... But I don't know half the shit some old timers know?

What did you want me to say when my questions were not answered? "Thank you Sir may I have another"?

P.S. I bet the reason they never came back is either it was the TB or they pulled a code and solved it. The embarrassment was too much for them to return.
