Default Run in with a pole! (very minor)

So... long story short, it was snowy, I slid a little and bumped a pole. Paint transfer ensued. Now I have this ugly red scar on my bumper that won't seem to go away. I don't really know how to get rid of it... any advice? Thanks y'all!

Pic related, it's right on the bumper and a bit bigger/noticeable than it looks.

Try some paint thinner, and then some rubbing compound.

Lacquer thinner, and if that doesn't do the trick MEK and/or some 000 steel wool.

You could try one of the scratch removers. My experience with them is that they won't remove a scratch but they will remove marks such as paint.

Well heck, I think I have enough ideas here to tackle every little scuff on my truck! lol thanks for all the helpful info and ideas fellas, I really appreciate it!

While we're at it, I don't suppose anyone has a foolproof way of getting spray paint off the truck around the fenders (at least I'm pretty sure it's spray paint). It seems the PO decided to hit the fading fenders with a can of black paint and didn't even bother taping for overspray. It's nothing terrible, but it bugs the s*** out of me knowing that it's there.

I figure I'll get some non-acetone fingernail polish remover and see how that goes.

Thanks again!

I had a paint scuff on the chrome part of my bumper, #0000 steel wool took care of it. And I used it to polish the bumpers and wheels afterwards.
