Plannin on doin my brakes here this week and was wondering what size rotors my 03 fx4 has?

12" if u convert mm into inches

It's SHOULD have 12" rotors on it. BUT.....'03 was a mixed year....some 4x4's got 12", some 4x4's got 11.2".

thanks guys..do you have to remove the cotter pin to get the rotors off?and do you know of anyone that has painted there cali[pers and is it even worth it?

There's no cotter pins anywhere....

Painting ain't worth it unless you can actually see the calipers through the wheel. lol. It's up to you...I did mine a long long long time ago in red. Then never cared about it and never cleaned 'em....now i just let 'em chill lookin' ugly...you can't see 'em through my wheels. lol.


Remove wheel, remove caliper(14mm wrench), remove caliper mounting bracket(15mm), slide off rotor. Install is reverse. Just remember RED locktite on the caliper mounting bracket bolts(the ones that bolt to the knuckle. Those things like to walk out and remember to tighten 'em down like a mo fo. lol.

sweet no cotter pin..i plan on getting them done this weekend because my truck just surges every time i stop
