2001 4.0 L o2 sensor code
Had a code for a bank one sensor one o2 heater circuit code I changed the drivers side upstream sensor (quite an easy task) as an attempt to fix the code thinking this is the normal cause for thus code, cleared the codes drove it and still the same code. This is the only code the truck has after swapping my motor I used the same harness I had before and all of the same electrical components. I need help on this my inspection is coming up and this is gonna make me fail.

Re: 2001 4.0 L o2 sensor code
sure you did the right sensor. Up stream is before the catalytic converter. just making sure, not saying you didn't know this

Yeah I know what your saying but I definitely changed the drivers side up stream one my first thought was I changed the wrong one too lol. Pretty sure bank one is the drivers side. I think what I'm gonna do next Is unplug the passenger side o2 and start it to see if that throws a bank 2 sensor 1 code like I think it should, that rules out it being the wrong sensor. I've heard bad things about bosh anything on fords it was a bosh sensor don't know if that's got anything to do with it? but it's the exact same code. Thanks for your input!

Even though I changed the wrong sensor that wasn't why got my exhaust all back in and welded up and a new o2 but the code still came up turns out two broken wires in the harness from when I pulled the motor had to pull the whole harness out of the truck took hours to pin point what it was and to hours to find the broken wires
