2.3 overhead camshaft 127-141 in-lbs pan to engine block 29-40 oil pan to tranny
2.3 dual overhead cam 18lbs in a sequence
3.0 engine 84-108 in -lbs
4.0 pushrod engine 60-84 in-lbs
4.0 sohc 80 in-lbs

I was taught 5 ft-lbs would do, be careful about manufacture specs, I almost bent up a 5.7 diesel valve cover trying to reach the specs.

You try putting 5 ft-lbs of torque on a bolt that only requires in-lbs torque your bound to break something

We never convert them. When I went to school my teacher refused to have people convert.
