Prank A Ranger Driver. (Horn & Brakes)
So, my buddy drives an '04 2wd 4cylinder ranger. My youth pastor and I really want mess with him, and rig the horn to blow when he pushes the brakes.
Any ideas? Anything that might mess up by doing so? Could I practice on my truck, so when I get to his, it will be quick and easy?
He keeps a spare key hidden on his truck, so we can get under the dash easy. (Well as easy as anyone can get under the dash in one of these things lol)
What do ya'll think?

It won't be THAT easy to wire it with the brakes, it will take some time. It's much easier to just wire the horn to work with the turn signals.
There aren't many harmless (things that won't cost him money) ways to mess with him.

Use t-taps so he can repair it without taking apart all of his wiring in the engine bay.
Sent from my Samsung Galaxy S4 because I'm a high roller.

Re: Prank A Ranger Driver. (Horn & Brakes)
I have a friend who had an old 1970 hippy van. It would honk its horn whenever he would turn left. I dont remember why or how that worked out, but it was hilarious whenever hed make a u-turn.

I think it's a great prank, it would be hysterical. But not quite worth messing up his wiring.
And if it's wired to brakes, what if someone in front of him is stopped at a light, or turning? His horn will go off continually, making the person in front of him angry.

well i don't think he would get out of the parking space before realizing the horn is rigged if its rigged to the break. but I personally don't recommend messing with wiring but maybe could jump some fuses with a alligator clip at the fuse box that could cause the same thing with out any damage.

Good point, probably won't do the brakes. The turn signal would be pretty awesome though...
I just got another idea, maybe we could rig some sort of beeper in his cab to go off when he applies the brakes. So when he stops, he hears "beep beep beep" but no one else does lol....
My youth pastor doubles as a car guy (as most guys in rural East TN do) so maybe we wouldn't screw anything up too bad.

Turn signal would be better.
And you and him are in TN?
Always good to see a fellow Tennessean.

I like pranks and have a lot of fun with them but if someone ever fucked with the wiring in my truck for ANY reason I would destroy them.
