95%of the time me then i let my mom drive it or my sister (who i don't trust at all because she beats the shit out of her taurus) but whenever i get it back i have a full tank of gas that's the only reason they drive it lol and it is only when i am at work so i am not gunna use it anyway

The only one to drive my truck was my dad when i first got it to see how it drove, and my mechanic when i was away on training, he had to fix the bent rear axle. My gf cant drive it cause she is only 5ft tall and is too short to see the road cause of the lift, its quite commical seeing her in there lol.

Actually (at least in WA) if your truck is insured and someone else drives it (even if they have their own insurance) your insurance company is liable if there is an accident... so stupid 'cause you have to buy insurance as a driver and as a vehicle but that's how it works.

Ditto, and actually you can default to the driver of the vehicles insurance if they are not the registered owner depending on who the claim comes from. The thing is if the driver doesn't have the funds to cover damage and they are the at fault person, then they can come after you for damages

My cousin backed into someone with my dad's suburban and the insurance company said the insurance follows the vehicle... think of fleet vehicles... if you get in an accident in a work truck its the company insurance that covers it...

That's true, buddy had his old chevy wrecked by a guy test driving it though. He somehow got the insurance company to go after the guy and not him. They tried but couldn't find the guy so now it fell on him. He just got done with a lawsuit about it and they aren't looking for him anymore. There is a bench warrant out for the other guy. That's just what I've seen.

Thats just about how I feel about it.

Most of my friends have their own vehicles and are pretty good drivers.
