Default South American Ranger

Why can't North America get the new Ranger (T6)? Great looking truck!

Look up the power ratings and tell me if you honestly would want one. Do you really want a 4cly or a straight 5 to be your highest powered engine choice?

Trade off for fuel economy. I get about 15 mpg in my 4.0 Liter 4x4 if I'm lucky. Besides, I'd thing Ford would tailor to the N.A. Market with a 3.7 liter.

If Ford wanted to tailor to its customer it would keep the ranger but they did discuss building another cheaper because they said that's what the people buying ranger want sense there attempt to push them into F150s didn't work. They said they could make a cheaper ranger and make it a unibody like the new explores because if they have a ranger there "not worried about the heavy duty" which is bull because people want ranger sense they made the f150 almost as big as a superduty. If they made a unibody ranger I could not see it selling well in the US.

The Honda Ridgeline (uni body) isn't selling well. Only unibody truck I know of in N.A

Who knows maybe they'll offer if someday. I know they have LHD versions. I see them all over Dearborn.

I just feel with the Fseries there turning them into luxury cars I don't see a truck built to work for the F150s after 96 I know there keeping up with the times but that's where the ranger fit perfect something smaller durable that can be used to drive or work.
