Ok guys so I sold my ranger awhile back and now have a chance to get another one.
Its a 2003 ranger XLT 5 spd. 4.0 4x4 with 116,000.Its my buddy's and he said I could have it for $2800. Now just from a quick drive and look at it. Its going to need front pads/rotors, rear shocks, 2 tires, and air bag light is on. I will try to get some pics tonight, but what do u guys think?

I see the brakes, shocks and tires as maintenance more or less. I would just wonder about the airbag light.

Ya. The air bag light is what I'm worried about. And then dent in passenger door, cracked front bumper/valance. But other than that???

Dents can usually be pulled? If its no too bad. And cracked valance is only about $60-75 if you order off the internet and install your self

If I'm correct it wont pass smog if the airbag light is on.

it's an '03, 4.0 SOHC, 4x4 with under 150k miles? for under $3k?? BUY IT!!!!! and figure out the issues after!! lol

airbag light could be something as stuped as a relay or fuse, like i had with my old car.
