Angry Consumer Reports

The new CR is out and I wonder whay you guys think of the terrible rating the Ranger gets?
Now I like Jap cars, I have owned 2 z cars and I have a Civic and an Avalon now but I just can't see the trucks being that much better than the Ranger. I also don't know why they put the Ridgeline in with the small trucks. ANyway I think this sucks or am I missing something?

Im shocked to see a non-toyota at the top lol

they have no idea what they are talking about, they do a quick drive, and receive bias info from consumers, nothing good really. They even talk shit about the new Taurus.

Ohh like I would ever consider looking at a magazine when buying a truck. I want something with older technology, older styling and easy-to-modify technology. The ranger is just that!

Consumer reports is full of bunch of bull shit. Every domestic car to them is a piece of junk and every foreign car is praised to the almighty heavens.

I had fun looking up starting prices for canadian models:

Ridgeline 34990$
Frontier V6 28048$
Tacoma V6 28380$
Ranger V6 18780$

Trust me, for 10k i can make the truck handle much better, and safer too.

The Ridgline is not even a truck I say all it is in my eyes is just a Chevy Avalanche clone. I have never seen anybody use the Ridgeline to pull a trailer or a camper let alone one with a quad in the back of it. I am surprised Toyota is that high up with all the problems they are facing right now. But one guy was right all reporters do is just take one jont in the truck and write a story from there they don't take long enough rides in all these vehicles because of their work schedules.

Consumer reports does not know what they are talking about! I was glancing at the newest one the other day in Books-A-Million and noticed how they said that the 2010 F-150 does not have full time 4wd available but they noted that the Silverado does.WTF??? Unless they mean awd, which you can get on a Harley F-150, you can get 4wd on almost every trim.... They're probably just a bunch of people who have no real knowledge of vehicles. They're just downgrading the ranger because it has remained virtually unchanged over the years. Never rely 100% on what a magazine tells you!!!

When they say "full-time" 4x4, they do mean awd. I didn't realize they were still making the Harley F-150s or any of the Harley trucks for that matter.
