Well, so far this truck has been awesome. It's let me cut it up and do whatever and not caused problems at all. I've done a lot since I bought the truck from a Toyota dealership so I'm late to the build thread. But I've made a lot of progress since day one. It's a 4.0 2wd sport. It's very clean and only about 60k on it right now. Here is the picture that I saw and knew it was mine. It's a fun progress and hope it continues going good.

Things I've done so far:
Black billet grill
Tinted the taillights
Plastidip on the rims and ranger emblems
Custom ford emblem on the back
Torsion bar crank
Toolbox
Black headlights
Arrow antenna
Offroad lights

That's where I'm at so far. It's coming along and I have a list of what's to come next

HIDs
Led everything else
Body lift of 3
Suspension of 3
33s
Cragar rims
Anything else?

I would color match the outer chrome part of the grille or paint it black. The chrome looks out of place

I disagree. The chrome is picked up in the wheels as well as the tool box. Straight black will make the front look like a big black grill hole.

I've heard some say paint it black and some leave it chrome. I like the chrome because of the toolbox, rim center piece and the inside of the headlights.

Mudflaps have been removed. Still haven't decided for sure on the grill bezel yet.

Black headlights and tinted tails?????? Then you are going to install HIDs.......... that makes no sense.
Please explain this to me.

What doesn't make sense? The headlights are black on the inside, you know paint? The lenses are clear so you can still see at night meaning you would still see the HIDs. LED bulbs are bright so they are easier to see so I don't get rear ended.

And also, if you'd look at my headlights, you'd see it still has the reflectors inside for the light to illuminate properly. I'm not an idiot.
