Default A/C Fan noises

Every once in a while I have to remove the heater/AC fan to remove the leafs. It starts to sound like a bicycle with playing cards in the wheel spokes.
How do they get in there? Can I put a screen somewhere that will keep them out?

it's kinda like skid marks on your boxers. How do they get there, and can i put a screen there to keep them from happening. The answer is... Your s.o.l shit out of luck. Literally lol. Just deal with it. Btw. PLease don't add a thread about rocks in your tires making noises on asphalt, but the noise goes away when the rocks dislodge from between the treads. Good luck bud.

On a more serious note how many leafs are we talking about, and how often?

I only go into the blower about once a year, and pull out about a handful of leaves. They end up against the AC coil. It is a bit of a PIA to get the fan out and reach in there to clean out the crap, so I don't do it often, and common sense says it would be more productive to prevent rather than continuously clean. It only takes one to make the irritating noise.
I do park under an oak tree, and my wife won't let me cut the tree down, so I need another solution.

You could use some sort of cheap screen material you'd find at your hardware store (the stuff you find on your windows). I've seen guys with rice burners turn there air filter into a cold air intake with some flexible plumbing duct, and window screen material as a filter. Pretty bootleg i know, but maybe you can find a place to secure some of that material to prevent the leafs from gettin in, and around your fan. Just make sure not to put it where it's gonna snag or catch on anything.

I know this thread is old. But most threads I search on topics I need help with are pretty old. I'm a forum necromancer! I'm pretty new here and am not sure how strictly bumping old threads is frowned upon. The way I see it, is relevant information is always relevant, and the thread is way younger than my Ranger haha!

Anyway. I have had to dig into my newly replaced blower motor twice since I've put it in (a month ago) to remove leaves. I'm suspecting they intrude into the cowl thing from around the windshield wiper arms. I may have to try to fashion some type of foam or rubber gasket/grommet/thing to take up the extra space around the wiper arms pivot things. I will see if I can come up with a solution. Having to repeatedly clean out from under the cowl just because I live near trees is unacceptable.
