Today I hate that my Ranger is burning oil more than usual today and it smells like shit.

I don't have anything bad to say about my truck, at all. I do though, wish that the inside bottom of my passenger door wasn't rusted, it's a 2009!!!

Nothing i hate but a few things i wish were a little better.
1-wish the clock was brighter,,,,looking for after market
2-seat belt assembly rattles in the door post when on rough roads.
3-centre console is kinda tippy

I assume you have 60/40 split bench? My center console was like that too. If you opened it without holding it still, it would fall back and spill every thing. I cut that bitch out.

I hate that the fuel pump might be going out, the truck hiccups while Accelerating, The Glass on the cluster is fogging and I'll have to remove it to clean it. That's about all. And an extended cab would be nice.

I hate that its puking coolant everywhere. Infamous 3.0 leak.

At least it didn't blow a heater hose while driving on the freeway like my mustang did yesterday

Have a 2006 and agree 100% with all that you said. Got a stock AM/FM (no CD) and it's backlit with the green light. Has gone out a couple of times, and I've thumped it with my finger and it turned back on, but still not bright enough.
Passenger seat belt rattles against the paneling, so when I'm alone I fasten the belt.
Am real careful with the center console because I've read a lot on this forum about them falling apart. Mines always up because I don't like anything impeding my steering. Don't really use it that much and there's nothing in there.

What I hate about my Ranger today is the fact it still leaks oil. Did a chain replacement on both sides, and wondered about the rear main seal since it never leaked a drop in 84000.00 miles. Has 86500.00 on it now. But I did what was considered thinking ahead, and replaced it. Bought the GENUINE FORD SEAL - and the $175.00 tool to install it properly. Motor runs like a top, just leaks oil at the rear. Already ran 2 gallons of stop leak additives thru it with 5 oil changes using different types and weights of oil. Leaks the same regardless -JUST REALLY SUCKS - Looking to trade for a moped

What I hate about my ranger today is the bolts that hold down the metal that you could put tie downs on mostly broke, hate drilling out bolts. And the tranny cooler need to be replaced, leaking

It's one of them special reservoirs that seal extra good.

I'd rather not buy a used plastic part, plastic gets brittle over the years so a used one might not last long. I've never seen the specific one I need there anyway always the square ones. 2.3 engine has to be a special snowflake and have a different one.
