My 3.slow doesn't have the power I was hoping for and the mph is awful!!!!

What mpg do you get? I get 11.8mpg with my 4.0 hahah

My 4.0 I get 15 mpg

I have a 1999 Ford Ranger with a 4.0 in it with a 5 speed manual transmission. It has 4 wheel drive also along with a step side bed. Every thing is stock so far lol!

What dose x2 mean? I see it everywhere all most.

Put new plugs/wires and a coil pack if you have the money. Fill up and check mileage accordingly and you'll be pleased! When I bought my 3.0 with its tiny tires it was getting 17. Each full tank my mpgs got worse til it got to 13. I put new plugs and started getting 22

Wow I never new that plugs would make that much of a difference!! That's 5mpg more.

My 2000 4cyl ranger dies while idling!!! Hope new plugs and wires fix this.

My 02 idles about 850- 950... Causes a shimmy that I'm not fond of... I'm considering something of the like as well as fuel filter replacement, perhaps a seafoam party... I'm getting the feeling as though I'm going to catch done flak over the seafoam reference... But I dig the stuff.
