Re: The "what do you hate about your Ranger today" thread
Not just the Ranger, but I really dislike having to use a key to enter and start the truck.
My other vehicle is "keyless" for access, starting, stopping and locking. What a PLEASURE not to have to always be reaching for a key down in the bottom of my jeans pocket! But other features of my Ranger more than make up for this lack of missing key technology.

Re: The "what do you hate about your Ranger today" thread
The good....
4.0L (plenty of power) (bad on gas mileage)
its cool owning a clean rust free 92' xlt
dont have to deal with power windows locking up, going bad.....I got manual
The bad....
My trans AD4L cause my truck to just turn off and blow the main fuse. ( had to un-plug the electronic overdrive thingy).....found out my trans fluid is black....
tired of the one wheel peel, sometimes I can get two going.
Whats the point of having rear anti lock???? I bearly tap the breaks and the front lock up so fast.
oh almost forgot...the 50/50 curb weight is more like 99/1

That I have a "Sport" but no limited slip, and every other 4.0L owners problem.. that I get 17 mpg. But it's better than the 8mpg I was getting from my 1995 Ford F-150 5.8L V8!

Not having power windows, I can do without air conditioning, but I'm 5'4 and rolling down the passengers side window at light is difficult!

Re: The "what do you hate about your Ranger today" thread
I have to get 4 new tires soon is my main complaint. I can't be too upset since I've put over 64,000 miles on the supposedly crap OEM Continental's. The second thing I hate is that I have 2 years left paying on the Ranger. The third dislike is the color. At first, I liked the Dark Shadow Gray but the love has faded.

Re: The "what do you hate about your Ranger today" thread
My first Ranger was a 97' single cab XLT with Oxford White as the color, which I loved -- probably because it was also my first vehicle. Anyway, I bought the vehicle used, and I had it approximately 5 years before it started causing problems. I, then, ran into the issue of not having money to purchase a new vehicle (and I was afraid I may get sick of a truck), so I fell into the leasing trap. My second vehicle was an ext. cab Ranger with a dark blue color, my third Ranger was Silver, and my fourth Ranger was again white. When I unexpectedly needed a vehicle again, the colors were very limited, but I did find the current DSG ext. cab. I guess that I got used to getting new vehicles every 3 years that it didn't matter much on color, and now that I've had the 08' since July/August 07', it is wearing on me.
