2011 XLT 2wd X-Cab 4.0 Auto White

Back side of rear bumper starting to rust thru to the outside. Going to yank it off and put a roll pan on. Going to triple coat the roll pan with Loctite Rust Neutralizer (as a primer) before repainting.

I tell you what- my 02s seats look almost new. Its scary how clean they are actually. I agree with you tho- every other ranger i drove the seats were trash.

The only thing I hate about my Ranger is the previous owner. he just had to modify all sorts of crap wrecking everything he touched.

The only good news is I am just about done repairing all the crap he messed with.

Week one: Need a new battery
Week two: P0420 code and didn't know why yet...
Today: Crawl under the truck to find one of the front diff seal is leaking oil bad AND the one at the exit of my transfer case AND a lot of rust on the frame and floor !!

Lucky its only have 25000 miles!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah I have been over this truck top to bottom front to rear, I made a long list of repairs that were needed, most of the repairs were caused by the previous owner and his silly mods ( short for I am going to make this cool even if I have to butcher the damn truck in the process )

I sure do wish that people who do not know what they are doing just leave things the hell alone.

What do I truely hate? The 2 worst things I would have to say

1. Rust. It has so little, but the bumpers having rust really gets to me.

2. The mirror inside the cab. All 3 of mine they are all angled the same, I can only see the car behind me if he is way too close to me, so it is more of a way for me to check how secure my rear cargo is.

That my aftermarket radio doesn't have any bass on tuner but only when I got a cd in or my phone playing stuff

My 2011 did the same: only the back of the bumper but the dealer have-it covered under warranty. Their shop sandblast-it , paint AND a ''gravel guard'' type of product was applied.

Sometime even if something is just out of warranty ,some dealer will repair-it anyway. Just be a bitch and ''cry'' a little lol!

And that my cam chain rattle is back after I replaced the rear tensioner.
