Would still need the cable clutch pedal assembly. Master and slave cylinder possibly a different ECU (not sure if 88 had a different ECU) lot of parts go into manual swaps lol

I test drove a 2000 back when I was looking for my first Ranger. The sales douche didn't listen to what I said and I ended up test driving a 4cyl......I couldn't get back to the dealer fast enough..............I would have gotten killed in that turd..........not that the 3.0 was much better but the 4.0 was a ripoff for what you got.

Found the problem to the power windows, the fuse under the hood was not making contact so i bent the connectors outwards then BAM. works now. Thanks for the help

Huh. Funny you should mention. My radio hasn't been working for a couple weeks and it's been killing me. Like there's no power to the accessory. Turns out the 10A fuse in my panel was sliding out and had some corrosion on it. I was so f*cking pissed that I couldn't listen to the radio and just the damn fuse popped out.

One thing I don't like is how the rear end of my truck bounces (almost excessively) when I hit a bump at high speed and it feels like I lose a small bit of control. Is there any way to fix this? It has new shocks and tires.

It's not about HP. They help control wheel hop and yes some weight in the bed will also help.

Ok. When you say wheel hop, to what exactly are you referring? I come from the 3/4-1ton truck world where my truck might weigh atleast 2 times what my ranger weighs. Iv heard that traction bars help with axle wrap. Is that another name for this wheel hop?

What you described below is wheel hop. They also help prevent axle wrap.

----------

3/4 ton and 1 ton trucks experience the same thing just not as bad.
