It could also have been the ext cab. I remember my 96 ranger had literally NO room back there, and I had a full vinyl bench. In my 2007 I can put a mini-cooler back there if I scoot forward a bit. It's fantastic. Haha

Hers was a reg cab. Huge difference. Mine has no room. That's why I have a camper shell. That's my room and if I need to tow I have a trailer.

I have a full vinyl bench in my regular cab. Only storage room I have is the bed.

Apart from storage space, I find my regular cab pretty spacey, and I'm 6'5''.
That being said, this was the interior of my last truck, an S10 regular cab...
So you can see why I'm not complaining about the Ranger. It would be nice to have the extra cab though, so I wouldn't need a toolbox.
