yeah, you'll be fine, I live on miles of dirt roads in northern Michigan (probably why it leaned to the back and the suspension got rougher)

Re: The "what do you hate about your Ranger today" thread
Made it home safely. I wonder how long I've been driving on a broken spring mount.

Luckily the hanger didn't fail that happened to my friend's '99 leaf spring went through the bed.

The hanger did fail. The rear of the leaf spring is now attached to nothing. Luckily, it stopped short of hitting the bed.
My new hangers have shipped. It'll probably be a few weeks before I get around to putting them on, though. We're going on vacation the week after next, and it's not a job I want to start after work. I'd rather leave it parked until I have a full day to work on it.

I prefer the way a midsize truck looks but I would like the space of a full-size.

I'm 5'9 as well. But with a 97 cab (smallest of single cabs) explorer buckets, full length console, sub, 2 amps and no tilt steering. It kinda is a cramped space
----------
My f350 is a 4 door long bed dually with front and rear bench seats. I have a lot of room lol except the interior is 100% red

Yeah I believe they added 7 extra inches behind the seat in 1998.
But I still can't reach the pedals comfortably with the seat all the way back. I'm at like 6 clicks from the front.

I think 7 inches may be a little much. I know my ex her mom had an 02 edge and it had a lot more room but felt like sat a lot lower in the truck. Probably cause my exploder seats are higher than the 60/40. At times I miss the 60/40 seats cause made feel like there was more room.
