Mine keeps coming up with excessive EGR flow. Took the EGR off and cleaned it and bought two new gas caps and it still comes up

Egr, has nothing to do with the gas cap. The DPFE sensor could be shot, especially if it is the metal one. Or your EGR is stuck open. Bad gas caps cause EVAP codes

Make sure the pcv valve is good (shake and it should rattle).

I'm the same way. Short wheelbase is awesome but u have no space. I had to buy a flat tonnue (however u spell it) just so I had somehwere to put stuff

If I had to have a long wheelbase, I would rather have a long bed than an extended cab. Looks better Imo and it's more useful, considering that you can't really put anyone over eight years old in the extended cab comfortably. The extra foot of bed would be nice too.
If they had made the back of the extended cab three or 4 inches longer and put in some useful seats, it might be a different story.

eh. I like having extra space in the cab so I can keep stuff in my truck without having to worry about someone snagging it out of the bed

that's true. But growing up all the trucks my dad had were just regular cab so that's what I'm more used to.
