1) It's black and hard to keep clean (but when it is clean, damn is it purty).

2) Very little dents just under the vinyl on the bed. I use my truck to haul firewood every winter and when tossing the logs into the bed, they sometimes hit the edge and leave small dents. They're just large enough to notice, but half under the vinyl liner so popping them out would be a bitch.

3) My running boards became too rusted and started falling off. I removed them no problem, but the bolts on the back side brackets are so rusted I can't get them off. Soaking them in WD-40 everyday but to no avail.

I think that's it.

Use heat. Heat expands metal.

If you're referring to the brackets, how would I go about heating the nuts to get them to expand without the bolts expanding?

Every time I let them soak in oil overnight, they will loosen a little the next day, but these bolts are like 4" long and they'll only loosen a couple centimeters each time.

Have you tried just cutting off the nut or bolt head, then hammering out the body of the screw?

Just heat the nut till its a cherry red. The bolt may expand but not as much as the nut. Makes a load of difference. I never believed it until we had to take the fan clutch off a CDL semi at school.

Long handled ratchet/wrench or air gun and just twist them off.

I would think an angle grinder/cut off wheel and you are done in 45 seconds.

I hate it's covered in salt and the rockers are packed with slush. Good thing I painted Por-15 in there and under a ton of places last summer

the only thing after a month of fixes is the fuel pump
either have sex with the ford house for 600 bucks
or figure out and learn how to put a new fuel pump in

I haven't done it, but I don't think it's too difficult. Get someone to help you lift the bed off, and it's right there.
