Hole or crack? My dad used to fix radiators in his dad's shop when he was a teen. He was able to weld a crack on my 4Runner, when I had it. Saved me a couple hundred dollars.

Rangers use a radiator with plastic end caps. Only real way to fix it is replace it

That it's still pushing 90 degrees with high humidity here in Florida, and now is when the blower motor decided to quit on me.
(I'm thinking the resistor, after cleaning and checking it works but only at the lowest speed.)

2/40 mod doesn't work well at 90 degrees and 90% humidity.

Got my bumper today from Logan metal products. Very happy with it and highly recommend if your looking for a bumper. Very good quality and only cost me around $500 and got it with in a month. Adjustable for up to a 3in body lift

I want to complain about all the stuff that's been wrong with my ranger this summer, but honestly its more an issue with sub-par replacement parts that kept failing and not so much the truck. 2 AC compressors, new condenser sprung a leak, on my 3rd alternator since July, junk plastic replacement door handles...
Only thing the truck does that I hate is creak when there is any body flex. Had my shop go over the suspension with a fine tooth comb and they haven't found it yet
Gotta love local shops. OSHA would never let a stealership troubleshoot like this

Re: The "what do you hate about your Ranger today" thread
Drivers side valve cover gasket needs eventual replacement, had about all I can stand of the burning oil smell. Thankfully a very SLOW leak....look forward to that job.
Also discovered today... one of the O-rings on the temp sensors will need replaced. And I replaced them along with the Mattel-quality thermostat housing in July 2013.
No way in hell am I going to replace the sensors just for this, so found some O-rings that will fit them. Lot cheaper than the sensors themselves.

Re: The "what do you hate about your Ranger today" thread
That I have a stripped bolt for the caliper bracket on the drivers side. Anyone have any suggestions on how to remove it?.
