Back on topic... For some reason the FX4 likes spinning tires when starting out when it rains. Lol. It was fun the first couple times but after a while it kinda got annoying. Belt seems to squeak more too.

I barely push the gas. If I actually tried pushing it then I'd be doing a "burnout". I found the solution: turn up the radio and I won't notice the little jump or sound of the tires slightly spinning.

Dem 4.10 gears. But yeah, my FX4 is a manual, so starting off in the rain always makes them spin, no matter how hard I try not to.

Mostly happens when starting on hills though. Where I live, starting in second on a hill will blow up a clutch, haha.

That's not a solution but it is a good way to ruin your tires lol

Lol the other nite it was windy and cold and the roads were packed.
I had it in 4wd and at a red light next to this big red f150...he started revving his engine. When the light turned green he gassed it and just started spinning and slipping..i just went right on past him..lol.
Funny as hell..u had to have been there.

Got a 94, 4.0 ext cab auto 4x4. Bought out of southern Jersey...Nice shape. Owner said wouldn't go over 35...Fixed that at least I believe...was stuck in 4 low....shift motor bad. Now for the frustrating part. I can get it to run by putting gas in the throttle body....Pulled tank, changed pump....no go....Bypassed inertia switch....no go ( when tested wires to inertia both red and green cycle hot for 3 sec.... put in jumper...(bypass) Changed pump relay....still no fuel, no pump sounds...Contact were good at pump, greased when re installed.
