The front shocks, drivers side lower ball joint, and pass side wheel bearings all kinda went at the same time, and the transmission is showing signs of its impending death. Atleast it waited fr me to get a job before going

I can hear a "pop" every time I turn, either the ball joints are going out or, my truck is making popcorn.

You sure it is not the leaf spring bushing?... I think that will make a pop sound when you turn the wheel. At least that is what I was told.

I have something similar going on. Turning and stopping causes a loud popping sound. Ive replaced just about everything in the front end and nothings fixed it.

2000 Ford Ranger. It has the 4.0 EFI OHV motor. It is an automatic 4 speed with overdrive. It is lifted 7 inches (3" body, 4" suspension). It has 35/12.50/16.5 tires. The rims are Weld Racing Rims. It has a cold air intake.

Did you check the leaf spring bushing?

I haven't changed the lower ball joints on it. There doesn't feel like any "play" but I don't know when was the last time the previous owner changed them. Time to spend money.

When I put the plugs in it was getting 13.5. That's 9 more mpg and I really noticed it too. If the plugs are old they should be replaced, it worked wonders. I'm at 210k now and getting ready to put new wires on it

That I can't figure out why my rpm gauge flutters/bounces/jumps also the transmission shifts kinda rough  can anybody help with the rpm gauge? Truck runs the same whether the gauge reads correct or not... just gauge doesn't read right
