No matter what I've tried, in the winter my door locks freeze. I only have manual locks. It's a pain sometimes. But I love my Ranger.

The tranny went, I left it in the mother in laws driveway... Big fight, bam. Gone. Wasn't told for 3 weeks. I was not gonna pay storage fee+tow fee...

Oh damn sorry that sucks...the fees will probably be more then what the truck is worth if you don't get it out.

98 explorer now with 148k and about $2k in stock parts replaced. It was owned by an old couple. Only issue is the rear fenders are rusting through slightly. I want to cut it out, rust proof along the whole bottom, and put fender flares on. Eventually paint it black as it is gay green color...

Nothing I really hate about my Ranger... but I do sorely miss my last 2 which were extended cab, now that I'm in a standard cab model. No longer having jumpseats puts a bit (read: complete) of a clamp on cruising around with friends, not to mention you run out of space for things so quickly.

Popped a fuse camping.. no wipers, interior lights, odometer and no speedio. 45mins just to get out of the old logging road.. then 265kms highway to get home.. now off to buy a crap load of fuses.. all sizes. Not doing this again good part of the weekend was.. I couldn't believe after I saw the road we where taking.. my 2wd didnt get stuck

Brakes started squealing. Dropped off for an estimate. Never happens on the weekend when I have time.

Brakes squealing? I assume they are old?
Mine has this weird noise from the back ones. I think of it like a vibrating noise. Hard to describe. None of the hardware is loose. I've changed brakes many times and always ensure I tighten fully.
The only difference is this time I tried a Powerstop Big Brake Kit. Not a big brake kit. It is a stock size, slotted/drilled ceramic pad brake set. The rotors don't seem to fit perfectly in the rear. I got them on and fully, it was just a fight.
