Dragging up a old thread, but had to add something...We finally have a gas station in town (Sunoco) that sells ethanol free gas and racing fuel.I filled my lawn mower gas jugs with ethanol free gas and added a 1/8 of a tank of ethanol free to my 3.0 Ranger.Believe it or not, I stomped on my Ranger after just putting the 1/8 tank in and it did a big rear tires burn out from a stop light,it has never done that before.I might fill up with it and see if I can do a full blown smoking burnout with it. Brings back a lot of memories.

Up here in Northeast Alabama, there is a Pure station that has Pure gasoline and 110 Octane racing gasoline, in a little town closeby called New Market. I use Pure gasoline in my lawn equipment and dose the Ranger with it on a regular basis. Ethanol gasoline sucks!

I believe they said they had 115 octane racing fuel also at the Sunoco here.
A friend of mine has a high 10 Trans Am that he drives around and I let him know he can buy his fuel in town now.
