Get a 3" lift spindle, a 2" shackle and an add a leaf. Get a nice set of 31x10.50r15 tires and a set of 15x7 wheels with 3 1/4" back spacing. Get a better flowing exhaust, do the airbox mod or make a short ram intake (mine)
Do the throttle cable mod and you'll have a nice start

Re: 2wd Ranger mods
Plenty of stuff to do to a 2wd! I've done exhaust, air box mod, superchips flashpaq, you can change out rear axle for better gears/limited slip, interior paint, seat covers, sound system, new headlights/corner/tails, new paint, tinted windows, LEDs....there's tons of stuff you can do for relatively cheap.

Removing the snorkel and silencer from your factory air box and adding a K&N air filter. 45-50$ for the filter and 15 mins worth of work you'll get about the same increase as buying a $300 cold air intake.

Exactly what he said ^^. I went one step further and used a dremel to open up the front side of the box to a larger hole. Might not make a big difference, but it sounds cool

Re: 2wd Ranger mods
2wds can be fun too! Most of the time cheaper to mod, suspension wise. I may possibly be doing 3 more inches of lift and a winch on the front for more offroad access, if my possible f150 project falls through

They will rub in the front at full lock and if you jump the truck.
Get this http://www.andysautosport.com/ford/1...k00000022.html and you won't rub

Ok so will 30's fit fine then?
----------
Also is there any way to make my truck taller without buying a lift or anything? I don't have t-bars. I'm guessing there isn't but it's worth a try.

Coil spacers are probably 50 bucks or less that you could use for the front. You could get blocks for the rear at any parts store or even the junkyard. That's about the easiest/cheapest route I can think. With that you'd fit the 30s fine and 31s with very little rub.

Ok, I might do that. So the stock suspension is still on and it's really old and seems like it's sagging. Is there a way to fix it, or do I need to replace it? If I replace it can I make it taller kit by doing that?
