Is an FX4 Level II worth waiting for?
I'm in the market for a Ranger. It needs to be able to tow a dirt bike trailer and a small bass boat occasionally. Anyways, compared to the other versions of the truck, Is it worth being patient to track down a Level II?

Re: Is an FX4 Level II worth waiting for?
No, it's not. The Level II is mainly an appearance package with a few nice performance options that can be added to any Ranger. They're nice to have and look at, but they're not really THAT much different from any other Ranger performance wise.

lol, I wanted a white Edge Ranger. And guess what? That's what I bought!
Seriously though, Level II's are really nice trucks. But they aren't big, badass off-road machines.
Now, if the Level II's were offered with 5.0's, then maybe my opinion would be different.

Compared to a stock ranger they are!! I concur on the 5.0 though. That's would be freaking awesome

I added #1 T-Bars to my Ranger. I'm like 1/10 of the way towards being a Level II!

How do you figure? The only real difference is the 31 spline rear. Ya some of them have manual tcases but I have never had a problem with my auto tcase.

Oh ya forgot to mention those awesome tow hooks lol. Idk if any ranger is a mall crawler. Unless its over lifted with some 20" Rockstars

Re: Is an FX4 Level II worth waiting for?
You could always get a fx4. They still have most of the level 2 add ons
