Default Questions about mods for my truck

Okay so I want to lift my truck a few inches, put bigger tires and rims to go with the tires. I want to put '33s all terrain tires on it. My questions are how much will this cost me and is there any other additional things I would have to do or add? Also what brand of tires are good? What rims would be good as well? My truck isn't 4X4 so I was wondering how many of you guys lift your truck and isn't equipped with 4X4.

You have a 3" body lift, runs around $170 or so IIRC. Or you have a 3" spindle, which is around $350. Spindles are way easier to install if you ask me, but are more expensive and still need to throw another $50 in for rear lift.

Tires, most are fond of BFG, but it comes down to cost, there is also the General Grabber A/T which looks like the BFG A/T just costs less.

Rims/wheels, just depends on what you want, color? Style? There are many options. I would stick with a 15" wheel for sure, they have the cheapest tires.

That sums it up pretty well. With that being said, I would recommend a 3" spindle lift, 33" BFG A/Ts and a polished aluminum wheel.

Bodylift is a PITA to install.

If I had to do over again I would go spindle lift. So unless you got people willing to lend a hand for a bodylift. Spend a few more dollars for the spindle lift.

There are a lot of places that have tire and wheel packages. Usually some great deals out there.

Cool thanks guys. I'm still browsing around for what I want but that's pretty much a good idea for what I want to do with my truck. Yeah I heard BF goodrich tires are good so I would get that. I'm looking for what kinds of rims I want but I want to get black rims to go with the body color.
