Default coil spacer help

alright i just bought a 2004 xlt i dont like how it sits low to the ground i has coils in the front need help just want to get it up about 2 2 1/2 inches in the front so i pulled out some spring spacer but cant get them in i dont have the right tools to expand the spring help!

the spacers are only 2"

we have a suspension tech section....




anyway.....to install spacers, you'll need a coil spring COMPRESSOR, not an expander. This will let you safely install the spring + spacer combo. Without it, installation of the spring + spacer combo may be darn near impossible.

btw...you shoud really unbolt that caliper and hang it. Not only to save your softline, but to install that spacer and spring, you wanna have as much droop as possible. Might as well disconnect that tie rod end too.

well i already had the tie rod and brakes caliper disconected from the spindle, and had the coil spring out jsut got irated and started to put it all back together and take it down to the offroad shop and have it done. but i thought i would post thanks man now i know i should just take it to the shop
