2005 xlt?

This doesn't really matter, I was just wondering...

So, I just got my truck about 2 weeks ago, it is a 2005 XLT. I remember reading somewhere (when researching Ranger's before I bought one) that the XLT's had the different options. So tonight I looked it back up and found a site that said the XLT's came with chrome bumpers and a chrome grill. Why does mine have black bumpers and a black grill?

Also, what's with the discoloration on the front bumper?

There's an example of the '05 XLT without the chrome package. I told you guys it exists. Mine has the chrome, and all it gives you is the chrome grill surround, seen in my avatar, a chrome front and rear bumper and chrome wheels.

As far as the discoloration on the valence, It bothered me too. It comes from the valence flexing, and the plastic they used lightens when stressed. I fixed mine by painting it. Try Krylon Fusion spray paint in satin black to get that factory fresh look back.

Also, you can get the bumpers and grill cheap from Certifit, if there's one near you. They deliver to body shops, but they won't ship.

jessica, can you access the area behind the seats by opening the small doors behind the front doors? or do your seats just slide and tilt forward?
If the "supercab" area has no opening side doors, then it is the XLT "Value Package"
which came with non opening supercab doors, painted bumpers and no fog lamps.

U can pick up krylon fusion at walmart

Do you have a bigger picture like what you posted? I would like to update the 2001-2010 Ranger break down with your truck. The XLT non chrome version
