Not probably, definitely. I am so impressed with my truck, it's easy to maintain, the single cab has tons of space for me (I'm smaller about 5'9 150 lbs) and my 3.0 is reliable and gives me what I need power wise. I've pulled 4000 lb trailers with the bumper hitch, i go mudding and off road ALL THE TIME and it goes through mud like a champ! I have over 200k on it at this point and the only time it ever left me stranded on the side of the road was when my tensioner pulley bearings seized up. $50 for a new belt and pulley and 5 minutes later I was in business again. I got the truck almost 4 years ago to get to commute to college and as simple transportation but I've fallen in love with it and now ill never get rid of it! If you get a single cab, get a '98 or newer, the cabs are 3" longer. I feel bad for my buddy who just got his '95 ranger, he is 6'2 lol but he fits alright in it lol. My brother also has a '94 ranger and it's been very reliable and a great truck. Can't go wrong with rangers!

My 4.0 has never needed anything but a battery and routine maintenance items. Just recently replaced a belt tensioner and that's it. And I don't baby it, I kind of drive like a d*** most of the time. Toughest trucks I've owned were my 98 and this 06. (Had an 01 F150 in between and came back to the Ranger)

Maybe mine was built on a good day... but I love the damn thing. Now that I've praised it, it'll probably break down tomorrow.
