It may "feel" like it turns tighter, because it's bigger! But it doesn't

I've pulled 4000 lb trailers with the bumper hitch, i go mudding and off road ALL THE TIME and it goes through mud like a champ! I have over 200k on it at this point and the only time it ever left me stranded on the side of the road was when my tensioner pulley bearings seized up. $50 for a new belt and pulley and 5 minutes later I was in business again. I got the truck almost 4 years ago to get to commute to college and as simple transportation but I've fallen in love with it and now ill never get rid of it! If you get a single cab, get a '98 or newer, the cabs are 3" longer. I feel bad for my buddy who just got his '95 ranger, he is 6'2 lol but he fits alright in it lol. My brother also has a '94 ranger and it's been very reliable and a great truck. Can't go wrong with rangers!

4.0 guys I hate to say this but it is true
Great post, lots of values. gotta give it a big hand.

I dont see how thats "ignorance". Personal experience. My ranger is older and therefore could have a different turning radius that yours as things are improved over time.

You all are crazy. Rangers turn radius sucks for a small sized truck. Chevy s10's and dodge dakotas have better turn radiuses than the ranger. And f-150's turn smoother and have a smoother ride. Also the f-150's BARELY have a wider turn radius than the ranger. Honestly the turn radius is one of the my top hated things about the ranger.

The ranger is fine for what it is. I'm 6'3" 275 lbs and mine is a bit snug especially since it's a 5-speed manual. Mine is a 1995 single cab splash, and while nowhere close to the comfort of the 2004 F250 superduty 4 door I used to have, it is a great little truck and gets the jobs I currently need done and definitely more economical when it comes to fuel. I would be much more comfortable in a larger truck but for the $500 I purchased it for and has proven to be reliable I'm comfortable with the little yellow truck

"experience" doesn't beat actual numbers....and true about our rangers being dif years...I would say the ratio of turning radius to the size of the truck, the f150 wins...but still a larger actual turning radius

----------

OP, I'd go for an f150..I'm not really big, 5'11", and have a supercab ranger. Love it, never getting rid of it, but just saying your a big boy, you might regret it.

I think the "turn radius" horse has been beaten to a bloody pulp, beaten more, killed, and beaten into little bits of horse burger already.
