Default Towed behind an RV?

Alright, so....is it possible that my Ranger was pulled behind an RV? I'm the third owner, and the guy I bought it from (old co-worker) only had it for about 10K. My Ranger has 234,048 miles on it. That's a TON of miles, I know.

But it runs SO good, I've had it since 205,785 miles (aug 2008), and only replaced a few things.

So, if its being pulled, do miles still count on the odometer?

Proof(took this last night):

They will still rack up while being towed,unfortunately for re-sale purposes it counts also.

Hm, maybe thats what happed then, I hope so. Might last that much longer. I don't ever plan on selling it but that works for me, only payed $1,500 for it, and he let me make $200/month payments.

those arent rv miles bro. youve got an auto, you cant tow an auto lol, well you can, but you have to buy a very expensive system that circulates tranny fluid while the engine is off.

Or just disconect the drive shaft.

I could be wrong, but isn't everything going to the instrument cluster just wires from a computer or sensor? No physical cable or anything?

if so, why would it still rack up milelage if it was being towed if everything was off? Just electronic if I remember right, so would the computer still be monitoring stuff when the engine/ignition is off?

I tow mine everywhere, it does not rack up miles when being towed. I have over 550,000 roling miles with just 285,000 on the odometer, 5 speed stick.

There are trailers on the market that will allow a person to two their vehicle behind an RV there not as big as car haulers but they do the job.

my ranger has a driveshaft disconnect control mounted under the seat. now i'm having problems with the carrier bearing for it, so i want to convert to a standard driveshaft.

Go to this site. Input your year and model info and it will tell you what you need for towing depending on your particular drivetrain.
