I used to get 21 lol But I had a really really really road tire. Now I have an aggressive all terrain, I get about the same as him

I have some BFG's Long Trail" tires 265/70-16
Shouldn't be that bad I guess lol

I HAD Wrangler RTS (the old ones, that replaced the exploding Firestones) in that size with a 15 inch rim

Use cruise control the entire way while going the posted speed limit. I get about 21 mpg that way.

I intend to use the cruise control hell yes!!! Lol But I believe the posted speed limit in some areas on the I-10 are 85mph,, is it safe to run an engine at that speed for a long period of time with 110 degree weather though the deserts of New Mexico and Arizona?
