Default Desirable Features '04 Ranger XLT

Hi guys,

I'm looking at an '04 Ranger XLT with the four cylinder 2.3L engine and a manual transmission. It has the short bed and standard cab.

Before I go to see it in person, I was wondering what features a truck like this would have that would make it more desirable. Obviously, it would be better if it had an extended cab but I'm wondering about seats and stuff like that.

What do you guys think?

Desirable features? Well it will have doors, a radio and windows which will go up and down. That's about it really. Seats will most likely be cloth. Nothing revolutionary. Rangers are basic vehicles

Which is better since you'll never have problems with them going bad. Love my XLT with manual everthing.

On topic, features that make it worth more money, when it comes to resell to a private seller, is being an Edge model, having 4x4, tow hitch, and maybe a cd player.

Having an ext cab adds at least $1k in value btw.

Yea, but for early 2000 Fords its better to have manual windows/locks. They tend to have problems across the board in those years.
