If its on a flat surface with wheels, anything can pull it.

I'd like to see the tranny open up on a live stream on the toyota's website showing how 'well' it did. As well as the frame being measured to show how 'strong' it was.

I think a 4.0 SOHC automatic in 4LO could probably get it rolling just like the Tundra did.

Lol I just saw that a few hours ago. I'm like, yea thats nice, good way to waste 40k totaling that truck due to the f-ed up frame it now has. It doesn't show anything that the truck can do, at least the Toyota one did something.

Had it been a super duty towing the space shuttle followed by the words "built Ford tough" it would have brought a tear to my eye but since it was a toyota i changed the channel and grabbed another beer.

From another website....

And the answers are in … Toyota Motors Sales chief spokesman Mike Michels says ..

On the pulling: “Yes, the Tundra will pull by itself. The majority of the transit will be aboard a self-
propelled mover. For the last block or two to the
Science Center it will be transferred to special dollies for the approach to the facility and the Tundra will tow it.”

On the money: “No payment was made for this event. As a member of the Southern California
Community since 1957, Toyota has been a
supporter of the California Science Center from the very beginning.”
