Default Static electricity??

When I get out of my truck, sometimes as I touch the exterior metal of my truck, I get shocked by static. It doesn't hurt or anything but it is just annoying. Has this happened to anyone else. It started when I started wearing my high school letter jacket while I got out of the truck, but now it happens even when I'm not wearing it.

Happens to me all the time when I started wearing my boots in my truck, maybe it has something to do with a leather texture or something. Sure gets annoying though haha

Default Static electricity??

Happens every time to me as well. I've started closing the door by pulling on the inside arm rest.

heres a trick i did when i had my ranger...before you even think about moving out of the truck put your hand on the outside of the door...thus grounding yourself and avoiding getting shocked

This happens to me also. I've always wondered why.

I've heard but can't verify, but rubbing stuff like the seat with a Bounce sheet will dissipate getting shocked...

When two fabrics rub together static is generally created. I never get shocked getting out of my truck
