Re: Might Buy This 2003 Ford Ranger FX4 LEVEL II
If you were someone really into trucks, or off roading, then you would pay that $5000 in a heart beat due to the FX4 Level 2 platform being a really good starting platform. Including a heavier duty 4x4 system/suspension with a LSD. And it would do really well in snow as well. However most likely I'd bet the rear axle LSD will need to replaced if it hasn't been done in its life. Since it would be wore out over 10years of driving on snow.

Re: Might Buy This 2003 Ford Ranger FX4 LEVEL II
Here's something closer to where I live and less Kms on it. options it has are pretty basic. A/C, Cruise, CD player, Sliding rear window. all I need to make something my own pretty much.

I should be fine if I got good winter tires on it shouldn't I? Plus I don't do to much all around winter driving. I have a thing against it after I rolled my first car 5 years ago on the highway.

Re: Might Buy This 2003 Ford Ranger FX4 LEVEL II
I have the same truck with 200,000 miles and it is still running strong. I would highly recommend it to anyone. keep in mind that I am 19 and do not drive this truck lightly at all. Between 5 and 6.5 grand would sound about right to me for a price.

Re: Might Buy This 2003 Ford Ranger FX4 LEVEL II
Man, in my area the seller would probably be asking $9-10k for that Level 2. I hate my area.
