at the moment, trash that i cleaned outa the cab while on a roadtrip, mostly bags for delivering newspapers, a 12v air compressor, and a tackle box full of wrenches and sockets

What I have in my toolbox is not website appropiate. No, just kidding.

I have a tool bag, rather handy. Keep a few hand tools in it. I also have bags in my truck for deliverying newspapers as well.

And lately I've been keeping a flat shovel in my bed to dig out if I get stuck in a snow bank.

Dont have any pics, but i keep the driver side clean for clothes and jackets. The passenger side i keep my small toolbox, ratchet set, and drill. On top of that, i have a toolbox tray i keep my hitch reciecver in, extra 1 7/8" towng ball, tie down straps, emergeny carpet cleaner, and varoies other things. I also have a liner in my toolbox ($10 at Lowes) to keep thing sfrom sliding around. Also on the lid, i have two LED lights on both side to aid in seeing at night ($10 At lowes in toolbox section)

A bunch of hand tools and what not.. a 3 million candle watt Q-Beam.. a tow strap to pull people out of the mud.. and the occasional case of beer cus the coppers can't get in there

hate to ruin your day, but yes they can search the toolbox...

trust me i know. been there done that, got the arrest for it too.

They need to have consent or a damn good reason(saw they say an open container in the seat or bed) to search your vehicle like that...you screwed up by consenting or giving the cop a reason to search your box.

if you have a locked toolbox with an open beer in it and get pulled over, you can get a ticket for it? Ive never done it with open beer , but have carried beer in the toolbox.

IDK about having an open container in the box(or why you would have an open container in there unless its empty) and its not illegal to have beer in your box as long as your of age. But if the cop sees an open container (empty or not) in the cab, or in plain view anywhere, when he pulls you over for something else(speeding, failure to signal...etc.) then he can legally search the entire vehicle without consent for other open containers and if your underage and they happen to find a 6-pack or anything else illegal in your vehicle then they can use that in court.

they can and will say anything to search your vehicle. one night a cop saw me leaving a well known area of teenage foolishness and pulled me over, then stated that my truck smelled like alcohol, wich couldnt be further from the truth, all in an attempt to search my truck. after he ran my license wich came up clean, he appologized and let me go.

if you dont consent to a search, they will hold you untill they can come up with a reason to search it, and then your still fucked.

haha well cops rarely search down here. i was pulled over with beer in the back of my cab (was covered by a sweatshirt) and i had been drinking only a few hours before and he just gave me the speeding ticket and i was out of there.

if i had something in the toolbox and he asked to search it i would ask why and probably tell him my dad was a lawyer if he persisted in searching it

he doesnt care if your dads a lawyer, that just makes you look like a douche bag shooting your mouth off. best way to deal with cops is to not give them a reason to be a dick, or your screwed in general, because most cops are dicks and think theyre kings.

in the state of Georgia. anything on your vehicle, toolboxes, tonneou covers, bed caps etc can be searched. as long as you give consent, its golden. now if your cool with the cops, they will probally let you go with a warning after they give you an intox test. Thats what i always do. if your .00 your OK
