they make 2 models for my year ranger the first ones are cool but have a huge body line in the plastic around the reverse light section, i NEED a lens thats completely smooth, these do the trick

sorry, the more i think about it im gonna keep them, because next year when i have to get my inspection done again im gonna need some stock red taillights to pass, so im going to take of the smoked tint and turn them back to red

Why would anyone black out tail lights, that is insane. I would think there is a good safety reason why the LEDs and blacked out tail lights wouldn't pass inspection. In my state, both would attract law enforcement and get fix it tickets.

On the contrary I've had cops behind me with my blacked out tails no problem...even the running lights show up great!!!

yeah what????if you think leds are illegal then u got something else coming, they are 10 x brighter than my stock.

and yeah ive had blacked out tails for 3 years now, and have never been told a single thing

plus its just for looks nothing else, its our trucks we do what we want.

In my state tinting the tails/headlights is illegal. The tails must also have proper colored lenses and colored bulbs are illegal.
Some drivers who get rear ended end up 50% at fault if their tails aren't legal.
