Search craigslist with "ford ranger snow plow" (at least throughout the new England craigslists) and you'll get a variety of brands. Snoway, snow bear, Meyers, fisher appear often. Many of the brands have a lighter rig homeowner setup which is probably the only practical setup for the ranger. Fisher, I think, requires 200lbs of ballast in the bed...but the brand websites will have information. The traditional full hydraulic quick release setups are probably all a little heavy for ranger. Typical plow widths are 6' 8". Some of the homeowner setups require manual angling (have an electric hoist to lift, but no remote control of angle). There is a brand for mounting on the rear in a hitch receiver too.
YouTube has LOTS of videos, both commercial ads and owner submissions, so search there too.
I don't know if the snow plow brands are regional or national in scope (probably varies).
