If you have had issues with your Ranger frame rusting out, LET FORD KNOW! It would be great if they did a Tacoma-like frame recall, or gave financial consideration to replacing/fixing frames.
This is what I did and I encourage you to this also:

Call Ford Customer Relations at 1-800-392-3673
and for each menu, select:
1 for eng
4 for customer care representative
4 for vehicle service
and then 2 to talk to someone.

Let them know about your frame rust/rot issue so they can record the feedback. Make sure you get the case number too.

I am hoping that if we can give Ford enough feedback, maybe they will do something about this. Everyone knows how much the frames are prone to rusting. Ford should do something about it.

Wow I wish I would of done that. I had to get a new frame and bed because of rust. Can I still call after I had the work done?

Didnt Toyota do it with their like '91-94 trucks?? Something like if you turned in your truck (if it met the criteria) you got like a 4 or $7,000 credit towards a new truck

Its not. Ive owned 5 Rangers that spent many years on Michigan winter salted roads and never had frame rot issues. Yes the body rusted but my frames have never been an issue. Maintenance goes a long way to prevent corrosion.

You guys in the salt belt will have that problem. My frame only had minor surface rust.

Never had an issue with my ranger...then again my frame got washed with the rest of the truck...F150 is the same

I believe it's was 92 and up cuz my uncle had one his was an 91 with rottin frame and they couldn't do nuthin cuz they told him it was for 92 and up!!!!! he was pissed!!!!! body was rust free and inside was spotless!!
