well this is what my old ranger looked like after the wreck

it broke my heart to see it like that, it was totaled my motor mounts broke and shoved my motor into the radiator, twisted my crossmember that the tranny sits on when its in 4th gear the shifter hits the dash.
so i found another ranger just like it for 1500 and got it on the spot.
heres what it looked like the night i bought it


so i pulled it into the garage next to the other ranger with about $500 worth of new parts


after some work and some cleaning and wheels and tires off my other truck this is what the end result is






there is still more to be done like new wheels and tires, exhuast, and a drop, freshly built 2.3 turbo with a tuner, since i have an extra 2.3 engine

I have to say i honestly like this story a whole lot! You took an otherwise sad situation and made something really positive out of it with the new ranger...almost as if you reincarnated your old ranger. Way to go bud!

the grille and lights are brand new, my old ones got smashes, i went with the same exact grill only i got it in chrome this time and i went with the black headlights and corners, i swapped the mirrors wheels and tires and some interior parts. i loved my first ranger so much i had to just start over, and it was all a cheap build. plus i found one with 100,000 less miles then my old one
