What Are You Fixing On Your Ranger?

1: Replace Water Pump
2: Replace Starter
3:Replace Heater Core
4:Replace EGR Valve

:: I Have 1 & 3 now i need 4 & 2

lol i been working on my starter today, because i went hunting and hit some branches and i messed up my Hotwire. so i had to replace it and the metal peice that is on the end of the wire.
I spent about 3 hours trying to fix the wire. because my starter only made a Clicking Noise when i tryed to start it.
Now i replaced the wire the starter makes a screaming noise so i figured that now i have to replace the starter which is $80 to replace

Right now my project is to rebuild the rear brakes. I'll get on the road one day.lol.

Gathering the parts for a rear differential upgrade for the '98. It needs other work as well. The lower left ball joint needs attention. The rust and paint needs work as well. The PO used and abused the crap out of the old girl...

@blaster you can rebulid brakes? @rangerroad how can you get your bumper straight? beat it with a hammer? haha @SGT dude i would take a 98 anyday lol my 94 is becoming a pain in my hinequaters lol but i love working on my truck

Well the bumper ain't bent lol one of the brackets was bent out so it had one side pushed out and one side pushed in if I can't bend the bracket back then I guess I'll be heading to the junkyard.

@RangerRoad i noticed you have a magnaflow glasspack, i thought glasspack was its own brand? and magnaflow is its own brand right?. but hey im on ebay & i see 2 chamber mufflers really cheap like $40. So i was wondering how much would a shop charge me to them install it?

also...advance has a couple thrush mufflers between $30-40. No shipping waiting time for good mufflers

Putting in new wheel cylinders,hardware kit and brake shoes . I do all work myself.

okay well il see how to do that, but i would need to bend the pipes and buy another pipe right? because you have to run two pipes on the muffler and one pipe would be there but i would have to buy another one for the other chamber. it sounds hard man lol but il see what i can do because i just became a hands on man lol

Actually my Glasspack came with my truck when i bought it off Craigslist, but they ain't too pricey. Mine sounds really good for a 3.0

@road oh okay well my exhaust has a leak in one of the cats, so does that mean i have to replace the whole exhaust system?

i'm not fixing anything, lol. got all the bugs worked out a while back and i'm loving it!

i could use a new door lock actuator though....
