I have a 95 RAnger 2wd 2.3l and I'm having trouble!
I can start the truck first thing in the morning and it runs great. I drive to work w/o any problems. I come out after work and the truck starts great. I drive home w/o any problems. The problems start when I turn it off for any reason between points A&B! If I start the truck and then turn it off it will cran and crank. I can press/depress the gas pedal rapidly and it will sometimes start. I have changed more parts than I should have. New fuel pump, IAC valve, fuel pressure reg, fuel filter, (used working) injectors, throttle body pos sensor. The truck runs great
otherwise. It has 160k miles and I usually just drive it back and forth to work, but I'd hate to get stranded! I have noticed that it idles higher than normal once in a while. I have almost run out of parts to change! Timing issue? lol

FYI to anyone out there having similar troubles. The temperature sensor that send the temp back to the computer4 was bad. It thought it was -20 degrees and would use the wrong air/fuel mixture. There are 2 sensors, one for the gauge and one for the computer. Hope this helps someone.
