My spare tire was stolen the first day i brought my truck home. I went into my apartment for like 20 mins, came back out and it was gone.

X2 I'm with ya on that 100%. My experience with that Crap has been Crap. Wouldn't count on it for a for sure fix or even temp fix.

AAA US and CAA CND. CAA will come and get you on any street, highway in Canada (if your a member). Which is great for the non offroaders.
But if your Offroading, wether it be 10min or 1hr or more into the bush / trails it's gonna cost ya $$$$ (offroad retrieval or repair is not coved). And that's if you can get a cell connection to get a hold of them, and if they'll come / some will refuse such calls / tow trucks arn't ment to retrieve offroaders. So do yourself and others a favour, and just bring a reliable spare with ya while offroading.

That is why you never wheel alone! ON a crawling trip in AZ one guy broke his front drive shaft and I broke an axle shaft. I drug him out to the nearest paved road and I went on the flatbed and he got towed. 2 for 1 LOL

That is for sure the best policy, to not wheel alone (your right). That is not allways possible or reality though! And as I stated "So do yourself and others a favour, and just bring a reliable spare with ya while offroading". We are talking Spare Tires here arn't we? Or engine failure, drivetrain failure etc.... Whole different ball game and topic. You can / should carry your spare tools, parts , first aid, survival gear etc.....
It was real nice of you to tow him out, but not everyone is like you or I (shitty I know, but reality as well). Lucky for him you were around.
If wheeling alone make sure you at least tell someone you trust, were your going and for how long. That's my policy if there is nobody wheelin with me.
