Default How to change your oil in less than 5 min

Hey guys,

My newest video is to help those who dont know how to change the oil in their car (specifically their truck). I know I use a lot of youtube how to videos to learn how to fix my car so here is me trying to help the beginers.
It also helps the pros because I might do something that they see and like so they can add it to their process!

Enjoy!

WAY cheaper. I've never paid to have mine changed and done it for tons of people for free just because I don't want them to waste the money.

Not only can you save money, but you know it is done right with good oil and a good filter... If you look closely, the truck's oil filter from the previous oil change in the shop was 1/4 the size of the one I put in!

I never use gloves when changing oil, that just isn't right.
The guys I know say changing the oil filter on their 3.0s is a pain in the butt.....that video made it look easy.
The lift on the truck makes it nice and quick.

Excelant KISS video!..........I am not sure if you mentioned it but, you want to warm the egnine up before chenging the oil. The warm oil will flow out better but more inportanly the dirt in the oil clings to the oil when it is hot. That way you are draining out the dirt with the oil!!

Never heard of changing the oil with he engine warm...ive done it a few times and its never pleasant. I always try to do it cold. Id rather leave a few specs of dirt in my oil pan than having scalding oil on my hand.

Well you don't do it HOT. Just warm. I usually let my truck idle 5-10 mins before changing it if the trucks been sitting

Someone bring a tow strap and a 24pk. I did it again!!! lol

It's pretty easy for me on my 3.0. This reminds me, I'm due for an oil change.
