I deal with enough carcinogens at work so I wear gloves. But that's just me.

Then again, I like my engine.compartments clean, so I'll spray wear I was working down afterward with brake cleaner to get rid of any residue left over.

Cinderblocks cause cancer too.

On a serious note, Ive done oil changes that resulted in both my arms being covered in oil (I had a helper, dont ask). I might wind up with cancer, but it damn sure wont be from an occasional oil change.

Should I be using Max Life/High Millage Oil if my 3.0 V6 has 80k + miles on it?

Can i ask, what is the difference between regular and high mileage? Do they just add more detergents to clean the engine or something?

My guess is the 12 Bud-lights, the bag of chips and the Cheeseburger that is consumed after the oil change does more long term damage then the oily forearms!.......

The website says that it cleans out sludge and keeps the engine cleaner, it reduces oil consumption, and provides better wear protection...
Based on Sequence VG sludge test using SAE 5W-30.
Based on Sequence IVA wear test using SAE 5W-30.

You don't have any grease fittings on your ranger unless you replaced something
